Hello. My name is Mikael Gustavsson. Creativity has always been important to me. It has taken many forms over the years. For years, music was the obvious outlet for creativity. Ears were silenced due to illness. A long process began to get back to both life and art. Pottery was not a natural choice. I was looking for a forum where you could try using a sign language interpreter.

An evening course seemed like a good idea. That it would be some kind of craft was given. But the choice of ceramics is due to the fact that it was the cheapest course available. It turned out that it soon would be expensive for one course was followed by the other. As I write this, I have been going on for about 7 years. I studied sign language for 5 years and have had time to become accustomed to think in pictures. Most of what I do has some sort of symbolism in itself. Sometimes the meaning is clearly, but it may also require some thought. Art should create reactions and awaken the imagination.
