Hi thanks for visiting my site. I will try to make a short presentation of myself. I'm 38 years old and have been doing pottery 5 years now. When I was younger I mostly used my creativity in music. I used to play in a basement band. We had a lot of fun but never really took off. Age 27 I started to lose my hearing do to an illness. I had to quit playing when all chords started to sound the same, or not at all really. Today I'm almost completely deaf and struggling to learn signing. It's going slow but it's coming.
I am a member of VSA Sweden. VSA (very special artist) works to give people with different disabilities a part in the cultural life. I started doing pottery by coincidence. I was looking for a way to softly start practice using a singe-language translator. I decided that an evening course would be suitable. Ceramics just happened to be the cheapest course at the time so I took it together with some friends. I had been looking for a new way to live out my creativity since music died. To my surprise ceramics seamed to fit me very well and so I went on taking another class, and so it has been going on now almost 5 years.
I like to make things with a bit of a twist. Humour is an important part of life. I hope you would find my objects being both funny, and in a non perfection way, beautiful. I sell things on ebay once in a while. If you think they are expensive you should know that it takes many hours to sculpture and that there are many steps in the process. My objects are all unique and cannot be compared to factory made “art”. In the “ateljé” area you will find objects divided in different groups just choose from the menu on the sidebar .
